I really enjoyed conference this weekend. There were a lot of good talks and there were a couple that really hit me. I have a LOT to work on!!
Anyways, the girls did alright through it all.
They got excited every time they saw President Monson.
They had little booklets to do while it was on, which they enjoyed doing.
I don't know why I didn't think of it til later, but when I was growing up we would pull out our sleeping bags and lay in or on those and color, play cards, eat snacks, and whatever else we did, so we pulled out the crazies sleeping bags and they were SO excited.
Since our air conditioner hasn't been working, it is extremely cooler downstairs, so we let the girls sleep down there Saturday night. Let me tell you, anything out of the ordinary makes my very lovely children the happiest crazies in the whole world.
Here are some things that were said during this conference and last conference...
When Elder Oaks talked he mentioned Heaven and Jo Jo got excited and said "Ahhh, he said Heaven. I like him".
Annie-- Being told to sit down and try to pay attention to what the leaders are telling us. "They aren't talking to us. They are talking to the people sitting down." (audience)
Jo Jo saw a picture of the temple and excitedly said "The Temple! The Church is back on the Earth."
Oh how I love my little girls!

that's fun pulling out the sleeping bags.
i let my kids slep in the basement every friday night, and there's nothing they love more than sleeping on a hard ground! :)
just something that mean moms usually don't let them do so it's fun.
