There is something special about a kiss on the lips with the one you love. When that has been absent for a while and you finally get the chance to lay one on them, it's almost like a first kiss all over again. Not quite, but close enough.
For the past week I have had two cold sores (I guess that is the way that my body has started telling me that I am stressing--stupid) and I am a freak about cold sores. I don't like anybody to touch my lips, because I don't want them to have the possibility of getting the stupid things. So when they finally started to disappear it was awesome to be able to kiss Dan again. I guess that is one thing that we, no I, might take for granted.
