A New Year Begins

Summer has gone by way too fast. We are now embarking on another year of school.
Annie and Jo Jo are entering 2nd grade and Ty is a big girl in Kindergarten. I can't believe it.
We have met their teachers and they both seem really nice.
The girls are excited that they get to be in a portable this year (I'm not that excited--too far away from the bathroom for a girl who waits until the last minute to say she needs to go).

Here is to an excellent year!!!

Kindergarten

We made it! I got a little teary when I was taking their pictures, but I didn't cry. I think tomorrow will be different. Today was kinda like they were just at a play date or something. We will see what tomorrow brings.
Anyways, the girls had a blast and love their teacher.
The first day was a Success!!

Getting Ready

I am not ready. Well I am ready in the sense that I have all the supplies and clothes, but I am not ready to let my girls go. I can't believe that we have hit this point in our lives already. It was just yesterday they were tiny 4 lb girls needing me to do everything for them.

Now they are such independent, happy, crazy girls that do almost everything by themselves (which I do love).

We have had more arguing and fighting lately between the twins and Ty and they need something else to do. They are ready.
We've gotten all of the supplies needed (kinda sucks to have to buy double of everything--oh well)

They have all the clothes they need.
And we had a fun day at the salon getting every ones hair done (except Ty). It's been awhile since they had the same length of hair, kinda makes me have to pay attention better to see who is who. :)

I am excited for this new chapter, I'm just a little sad that they are growing up so fast.
Watch out Kindergarten... Here comes two gorgeous, crazy girls!!!!

On a side note, I'm thinking we are going to have a complete breakdown when we take the girls to their first day on Monday. Not by me, by Ty! I'm pretty sure I will have to carry her out kicking and screaming.
