Last Day of School

There were tears today.

Mostly by the twins.

They have been dreading this day for the past couple of weeks. Of course they had a BLAST, but they just didn't want the year to end. That says a bunch about the class they were apart of and the AMAZING teacher they were blessed with. I never thought that we would be able to top their kinder teacher (who is moving to 1st grade and I'm praying Ty gets her), but this lady was seriously spectacular.

We were able to go to a breakfast with their class first thing and Ms. Rowe gave out awards, gifts, and pictures. I told you she is amazing!

Right after awards and pictures we hurried over to the next party. This little crazy wasn't as sad to end this year. She never got "into" the school thing. But she did make some cute friends.

This year was the quickest one yet. It flew by and I was both ready and not ready for summer. It also means that my crazies are moving further and further away from being my babies. I'm a little sad about that, but I can tell you that I am super excited to watch them grow. More and more I watch/listen to them (my oldest two especially)and wonder when they decided to act so old. It is truly bittersweet.

Now we move on to summer. We are planning on taking quite a few trips out of this scorching heat so that we will be able to still go outside and play without melting.

We need to make our summer bucket list, but I'm not sure if or when we will get around to doing that. I am just going to take the days as they come and enjoy the summer life with my little ones while they are still young.

Plus I need to wrap my head around the fact that I am only going to have one crazy at home (all day long) come the end of August.

1st grade is hard for me.

Birthday Movie

Our good friends decided that for the girls' birthday, they were going to take them to the movie "Frozen". Ty was so upset, because she hasn't seen it yet and so I took GiGi and Ty and we all went to the movie. It was a very happy day!!!

Wednesday, Ty was able to go have a play date with her best friend. They had a blast.

The neighbor boy doesn't like that Ty has morning kindergarten and he has afternoon. He is so bored that he comes over and asks to play with GiGi. He must be desperate.

Today there was no school and so we had plans to go have some fun with our neighbors, but GiGi decided that she would rather throw up and be sick. So instead, the other three gals ran over and had some pizza, soda, and watched a movie. Can't get better than that.

Who knew that a Baby Einstein would keep these kids so entertained.

The twins have two good friends. One of them is moving to Japan for the next three years. Sad, but exciting as well. We had to have them over before she left for some fun. Of course there was a movie that was watched. Actually it is a Baby Einstein movie, so funny how into it they all were.

The rest of the time, they had fun playing whatever game they made up.

These girls are so cute. I think my girls have been extremely blessed to have them as friends.

We will miss you Lydia.

Treats and Friends

When we were on our way home from Mt. Charleston last week we talked about going back up before school started and have some friends go up with us.
And that is exactly what we did. Everyone brought treats and we had so much fun and enjoyed the weather. It was 30 degrees cooler than the valley!! Actually we ended up leaving because it started to pour on us. Heavenly! I love the rain. :)
The kids had a blast and you could tell by how dirty they all got.







I love all these families. We definitely need to do it again. So fun!
