We would like to show off our new baby GIRL!!!
This morning I started to have contractions and I knew that I would finally be able to meet my child. To finally know what kind of crazy we are getting.
We spent pretty much all morning trying to clean the house, do laundry, and trying to get ready. I think the girls knew that something was up, because we had lots of fighting and whining. Actually the past week has been kinda rough that way.
Around 5 we took the crazies over to Dave and Brandy's. After we dropped them off we went to Target to get a couple of things and then we went to get some dinner at yummy Tommy's. My contractions were getting really strong, but I didn't want to go to the hospital if I wasn't ready and have them tell me to go home, so we waited until I knew we needed to get inside.
When we finally got inside (at 8pm) they checked me and I was already between a 5 and 6 and so they hurried and got me a room. Within the next half hour I jumped to an 8. It was really quick and crazy. I was ready to have the baby at 10, but my doctor wasn't there yet and the nurses kept telling me not to push. Whatever! My doc finally arrived and two pushes later at 10:31pm our baby girl had arrived.
She was 6lbs 13oz and 19in long. She has tons of gorgeous hair, is super sweet, and looks like her sisters--Go figure!
The whole process was more emotional for me this time around.
