Fathers Day

These little crazies are so lucky to have such a great daddy. They adore him! Unfortunately he didn't get to spend very much time with us today. He slept all day and is working tonight. We did get to have dinner with him and open a couple of gifts, so the crazies were happy.

GiGi found the kisses that we got for daddy and snuck a handful of them.

Little stinker.

When I went through the house before I went to bed, I walked into the front room and everything looked just fine.

But I'm pretty sure that that cushion just snored a little.

Silly silly girl.

I'm so very blessed to have married such a great guy who is also a great father.

And I have to say Happy Fathers Day to my dad-in-law. Thanks for everything!

To my daddy, I love you so very much. You are amazing and I am so blessed to have you help me through life. Thanks for everything. I hope you had a great day. Love you!

Science Project

We started a science project the other day. This is what it looked like yesterday.

The crazies have woken up so excited every morning to see how much it had grown over night. They loved it.

Banister Fun

I was a little bit surprised when I saw the crazies jumping off of the banister (they are a little chicken when it comes to dangerous stuff). So what did I do? I sat down and watched and then I started taking pictures and recording all these kids. Dan even did it once. Don't worry, they aren't allowed to do it anymore (that doesn't stop them from sneaking it though).

9 Years

It doesn't seem like it has been very long, and at the same time it seems like we have known each other forever!

We were able to go to the temple in the morning. Which was really special.

We then had a relaxing afternoon...

until Dan and I went out to dinner.

It was a good day and I'm so very blessed to have this man in my life. He is WONDERFUL!

Sunday Mess

The girls had fun after church today.

Summer

We have made our summer bucket list and visiting all of the Henderson splash pads are on the list. There are 13 of them.

We made it to one this morning. We were able to have a friend join us and the girls were so excited.

Of course all the pictures I took were when they were playing on the playground and not in the water.

Bench

I have wanted a bench for our table for way too long now. We never have the money around to buy one and I don't ever see one that I love.
I kinda looked for one here and there and I finally found a bench that I loved, so I printed out the plans and Dan and I made one. So much cheaper and so fun, except for that one fight. ha ha

Don't mind that the color doesn't match the table. Maybe one day we will redo the table to match.

I am so happy to finally have one and the girls are loving sitting on it. We can't get GiGi to sit anywhere else.

An End

I can't believe that it is already here. The last day of 1st grade.

It has been a good year and the girls have done very well. They didn't do as well in AR as I thought they would (they rocked it in Kinder), but they read like crazies and loved every minute of it. They were also great helpers for Mr. Escobedo.

They had a lot of the same friends in their class this year and that made them so happy. Lots of fun and luckily only a few drama moments. Boy it is going to be fun when all four are older. :)

Next year will be here before you I know it and I don't really like thinking about next year, because it is going to be CRAZY busy. I'm just going to enjoy the summer and try to endure the heat.

Great job twinners!! You finished 1st grade like champs. I'm so proud of you.

Ty and I

Ty and I had fun playing outside today.

It was just us.

It ended with lots of water.

Busted

Someone found my phone and did what was necessary for her to snatch it.

She didn't like that I took it away from her after all of her hard work.
