Anniversary and Daddy-Daughter Dance

I had finally decided that I would go play soccer with the rest of our Family Home Evening group. I had to go by myself because my roommates were busy, which kind of sucked, but when I got there, there were three new guys and they were pretty cute.

I'm not the chatty type and so after the game I was just going to leave, but those guys called me over and we talked for a bit. Turns out they had just moved into the neighborhood, they were very funny and I was excited to get to know them. We started to hang out every now and then and we would see each other at church functions every week. Me and one of those guys started to flirt constantly and one day he finally asked me out.

Ten years later we are still together, have 4 crazy, beautiful girls, and I can't seem to get enough of him. I'm so blessed!

And because I am so wonderful, I let him go out on a date (on our anniversary) with two beautiful girls. It was a 50's theme dinner and dance. They had SO much fun!

9 Years

It doesn't seem like it has been very long, and at the same time it seems like we have known each other forever!

We were able to go to the temple in the morning. Which was really special.

We then had a relaxing afternoon...

until Dan and I went out to dinner.

It was a good day and I'm so very blessed to have this man in my life. He is WONDERFUL!

Town Center and Anniversary

We made it to 8 years! Yahoo!

We didn't have any plans and so after breakfast we decided to go to Town Center. It was kinda hot, but it was fun. We splurged and let the crazies ride the train. They loved it!

They also go to play at the playground for a bit. They even got Dan to go in the maze with them.

We did a little bit of shopping and I got a pic of our cute girls while we were waiting.

For dinner we were able to have our good friends watch all four crazies so we could go out to eat. It is always nice to have alone time. We went to the Cheesecake Factory. YUMMY! And of course I forgot to take a picture of Dan and I. I hate when I do that.

Oh-well, it was a great day and I am extremely blessed. These last 8 years have been awesome! I love you Dan. What fun we've had huh!?! Lets keep it up!

Anniversary

Today marks 7 years that I have been married to my man! We have had plenty of great times and plenty of crazy times. Our anniversaries are becoming less and less romantic, but I'm ok with that. As long as we are happily together and can still have a few dates every once in awhile. We were able to go out to eat a couple of days ago, so that is always a good thing.
Dan I love you so much. I have loved being with you for all this time and I'm grateful for all that you do.

6 Years and Going Strong!!!

Today is mine and Dan's 6 year anniversary.
This picture is so funny to me. Don't you love how we act like we can't be separated at all!?! At least we could still see each other. ha ha


Here are some with us together. Actually I hate most of my pictures. Our photographer didn't do a good job and most of the pics are just crap. Oh well. The only thing that matters is that we got married. Right? I guess it is a good thing I had my friend take some pics as well--they turned out better.



Can you see that there are two cars that are completely distroyed? That is because no one knew which car we were taking and because I have some MEAN siblings and cousins! Seriously those cars were DISGUSTING! Inside and out. And then they got us again after we had washed one. Seriously?


It is Dan's year, but I gave him an idea since he couldn't think of anything. He did decided to take a little trip up to Red Rock Canyon to do a little hiking. The crazies loved it and didn't disappoint with the bugs. :)

Right after the crazies were down for bed, Dan made us a couple of steaks and we had a yummy non-kid dinner. Although the kids kept coming out of their room-- Little stinkers! After dinner we watched a movie.
It was a good day and I'm so happy to have Dan FOREVER! Thanks for putting up with me Dan. You are wonderful and I love you more all the time!

5 Years and Going Strong

Yesterday was mine and Dan's 5 year anniversary. It really is pretty crazy that it has been five years. We have had some fun times. It was my turn to plan it this year and so I decided to have a campout in our backyard. I started on Sunday and gave Dan little notes every day with little gifts. Then on our anniversary I gave him one last note and the last of his gifts. I thought that my plan would be ruined because of the rain, but I was feeling adventerous and so during a break in the rain we hurried and set up the tent. We took a drive up the mountains and then went out to eat. Afterwards, the rain had stopped and so we started our fire and cooked up some smores. After we ate our smores, it started to rain a little bit, so we got into the tent and started the movie that we rented. It got a little bit chilly, but overall it wasn't too bad. Jenna and Dustin took our crazies for the night--thank you guys. It was so nice to have a fun and exciting night alone.





Dan, you are an amazing man and I am so lucky and blessed to have you in my life. You are so fun and I'm glad that you are always up for the little adventures that I have us do. I love you so incredibly much!
