New Dresses

When we went to do our grocery shopping the other day I saw a couple of dresses that were so adorable. They were only $6, so I just had to buy them. This is Scarlett and Hawley before church on Sunday. What cuties!! They are so springy. Can't wait for the warm weather to get here and STAY!!

Potty Training and Crabs

No the girls didn't get crabs from potty training, but they did get some crabs for doing good at going potty in the toilet. A couple of days ago I was washing the seashells that we got in Mexico there were a couple of crabs that were still alive. We put them into some water, but they ended up dying. The girls absolutely hated the crabs at first, but by the end of the night they loved them. When they woke up the next morning and they were missing they kept asking all day long where their crabs were. When I told them they died and we threw them away, they told Dan not to throw them away. So Dan went out and bought them a couple of hermit crabs. Hawley named hers Crabbie and Scarlett named hers Hermie. Scarlett is still a little bit scared when they decide to come out of their shells, but she is getting better. Hawley loves them. Actually I think Dan is the most excited to have them as pets. He will just sit and watch them for the longest time and he is always playing with them. Maybe he should have bought one for himself as well. Oh and the girls are doing awesome potty training. Finally! They have only had a couple of accidents. I never thought that this day would come. Scarlett even woke me up last night saying that she needed to go potty. Keep up the good work girls!!

1st Hair Cut

I know Shai and Cade will be ecstatic when they see this. It was a little difficult for me to do, after all it's my little baby's hair. Before we went to Mexico I decided to just get it done with and I put Tyda's cute little mullet into a ponytail and chopped it off. I cut a good inch and a half off. It's just a little crazy because I didn't cut Scarlett and Hawley's hair until they were about 1 1/2 or so and Tyda is only 7 months.



She is still my beautiful little girl, but now I don't have much to play with.

Mexico

I know that it has taken a while, but here is our vacation...

We drove 10 hours to Phoenix and visited Ali and saw where she is living and then we went to Mesa to stay the night at my Uncle Gary's house.


We found the dress ups at my Uncles house and decided to try some things out! I'm thinking about going blue for real! :)

The next morning we had some delicious breakfast (Thanks Aunt Patty is was wonderful!!) and we headed out for Mexico. About 4 hours later we were on the beach.
We had a very relaxing and fun time finding seashells, riding the 4-wheelers, playing games, swimming in the ocean and the pools, shopping and just relaxing. There is going to be a lot of pics, but it is hard to pick a few from the 400+ pictures that we all took.

The girls all got their hair braided, which was wonderful for me since I didn't need to do their hair.









This is just outside the bakery that we went to just about everyday.

One of the days while we were looking for seashells, we found a crab. Well all I need to say is that the girls didn't like it one bit.

What a wonderful vacation we had in Mexico. We left last Wednesday and came home yesterday. It was so heavenly! Although it really is quite ridiculous that we had to come home to snow. What is that all about?
I just wanted you all to know that we are alive and well and I will be posting pics of our fabulous vacation soon. Until then have a fantastic day and be happy!

Bath Time Fun

The girls don't get bubble baths very often, so when Dan gave them one the other day, they went crazy!!! They absolutly loved it.

Zoey and Valentines

Zoey happens to be a Valentine baby! She was born 3 years ago on the 14th, although she acts like she is 16 most of the time, and so we were able to celebrate with her. We had lunch, watched her open her presents, watched all the girls freak out because there was a huge fly on the table, eat cake and ice cream, have a good time with some good people and we found out that Julie is an old person name (just ask Morgan).


If you look closely you can see the fly on the table.

It was traumatic!!

A Vacuum!

Jenna and Dustin got her some fish. She named them Fishy and Nemo.

Dan got me a dozen roses for Valentines and I got him a picture frame that says "Forever. That's All." and a chocolate fondue thing. We didn't really do anything. We had Sarah watch the girls and we went grocery shopping. I guess you could call that our date for the night. It was a great day and I'm glad that I have the people that I love so close.

Tyda

And here is one of little miss Tyda. She is growing up so fast and I'm so excited for the crawling and the walking and the talking. It is always so exiting when these milestones are reached. Here are a couple pics of her first tooth. Her second one is part way through. She LOVES playing with the tooth with her tongue.

Scarlett

Since I did a blog about Hawley the other day, I thought that I would do a short one of Scarlett. My crazy, silly, hilarious, emotional, gorgeous Scarlett. I love you little girl!!!!


This is Scarlett the other day when she found a paci. She loves to pretend to be a baby, and when she found this she was even more excited to be a baby.

Too Small

As I'm cleaning out the girls' closet and dresser, trying to put away all the small clothing, the girls see their swimsuits and take them without my knowing. I find them hiding in the wash room looking so lovely....

Doesn't Hawley look so funny!?! She just got done screaming because I scared her.


They are completely stylin!!!! I am proud of them for being able to put them on with no help. They are starting to dress themselves and I thought that they would still be asking me to put their clothes on when they were 18.

A little bit after this picture, Zoey starts whinning telling me that the swimsuit is too tight. Go figure--it is 18-24months.
