Weekend Part 2

Most of the family left Sunday and so we didn't get a whole bunch of time with them, but there were a few that were staying another day and that made me so excited! Can you tell that I miss my family?

Sunday was the super bowl. Of course we had to have a party to cheer for those Broncos. By half time, I was done watching. The commercials weren't that good and the game... Oy the game. We had fun during the half time show, but after we just did whatever, glancing at the game every once in awhile.

Sunday was also this lady's birthday. So we had some cake and ice cream and gifts. So grateful for that crazy sister!

You never know what will happen when we are together.

I am so sad that they are all gone today. I miss them already and I can't wait until the end of March when I get to see them again. We had such a fun and memorable weekend!

Weekend Fun

My family arrived into town on Friday. We were so excited to have them here. The last time we saw them all was in July, but it seems so much longer than that. Shai, Morgan, and Jenna stayed here at the house and Ryan and Mom and Dad stayed elsewhere. Needless to say it was a crazy few days, but I loved every minute.
Friday after people arrived we went to our favorite yogurt joint--U-Swirl. Then we just hung out the rest of the night.


Saturday was a pretty busy day.
We went to the Shark Reef.

The girls then had a soccer game. They are on a winning streak. Go Dragonflies!
Next we ate dinner and had a little birthday thing for Mr. Z and a surprise for Shai.



And then we attended (for a short while) the Outdoor Picture Show at the District. Most of the kids spent their time on the carousel instead of watching the movie.

Weekend Fun

Annie found Dan's hoodie and decided to wear it. There was some fighting when Jo Jo wanted to wear it and Annie wouldn't let her. So after some crying they came to the conclusion that they should both wear it. I love it when they work together. It was pretty funny to watch them try to walk and stuff.

We were able to watch our new nephew for about an hour. The crazies absolutely loved him. Annie told him some of her made up stories. Ty just talked her jibberish very loudly and kept saying "Baby baby". Jo Jo just liked to sit by him and help as much as she could. When we needed to feed him Jo Jo helped hold the bottle and Annie tried to keep the sun out of his face. By the way there was no sun. She was doing absolutely nothing to shade his face, but I just let her do what she wanted to help out.



I have been wanting crepes for so long, but we didn't have a recipe and I always forgot to get the stuff for it. We finally remembered, found a recipe and made them. They were yummy. After the crazies had eaten most of theirs, I put the strawberries on the table and man did they go to town. Ty was in heaven. They ate pretty much the whole batch.

Our Fun Filled Weekend

We had visitors this past weekend.
They all came to support Dan with his work.
My parents and Morgan and her fam stayed at the Palms hotel. They got pretty lucky with their upgraded rooms. A Suite and Penthouse? Are you serious!
Some of us went to the Shark Reef and had a good time.
Oaks and Jo Jo were the only older kids that went. It was so weird to only have one child to look after.
So calm and relaxing!


Dan even took me out on a date while his family watched the crazies. It was nice and definitely needed.
It was a fun weekend and I'm so thankful for all of you who came to visit! It meant a lot to Dan.
