This girl can multi-task!

Outside

The girls spent ALL day outside today.

They brought out books and their fort set and read up in the tree most of the day. They were seriously up their all day. I was shocked. And wondered how in the world it could be comfortable up there. But I loved watching them!

The other two crazies played outside most of the day as well.

All this was happening while Dan changed out struts.

What a man! :)

Reading

I am so lucky that my girls love to read. It makes me so happy.

I found these two reading book after book. Annie is such an awesome big sister.

Then the next time I looked in the room, Jo Jo had joined in.

And then little Ty wanted in on the fun.

Love it!!

Sad and Sunny

I am so excited that my girls LOVE to read. It actually wasn't that way about a third of the way into the school year. They fought me with reading every day. I had to change the way I approached it. Instead of forcing them to read every night I would reward them with reading. We made a deal that if they were ready and in their bedrooms by 7:30 they could read until 8 or so. That made all the difference in the world. They went from whining when they had to read to me getting mad at them for reading instead of getting ready for school, church, bed. Such a happy momma!

Today Jo Jo was enjoying the weather outside and took a book or two out to read, but it was too sunny. She fixed that problem.

Soon after she had a companion.

Love them!

Reading

I LOVE that the crazies love to read. They are constantly reading. I like to walk into a room and see them pausing their play to read a book they have found.

Sometimes I have to remind them that they don't read while they eat (they spill a lot).

GiGi will even let them read to her. Do you like their little reading nook that they have been using? They will have to find someplace else, because I am finally getting back into getting the house put together and that is no longer there.

Hopefully they continue to love it!!!

Our Days

Ty has been on one lately. She will be two in about a month and is already showing it. I seriously want to pull my hair out when she does this for no reason...

And folding her arms when she doesn't get what she wants or doesn't like something.


The crazies still love to read. They especially love it when someone reads to them. The twins have some books memorized and so they will read books to each other and sometimes to Ty. I love watching them do this and seeing how smart they are getting. We have gone through many books and I need to buy some different ones. I would really like to find my favorite that they completely destroyed and we had to throw away. That was a bummer.



We don't have Cable and so the girls get really excited when they get the special chance to watch some show online. They really like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

We have a lot of crazy moments and a lot of fun moments. I guess it is all to keep me on my toes!

High Reading

This morning the crazies decided to be rebels and put their chairs on the couch so they could "be higher up".


At least while sitting up higher they were reading which I love.
