What a Weekend! Part 1

Thursday night little miss Annie and Ty thought it would be fun to get sick so close to the fun weekend. They threw-up all night. I've never disinfected my house so much. But I also haven't had a bunch of people coming when my kids are super sick. We actually have never had this kind of sickness with our kids. They learned a lot. :)

Anyways, Friday day those two kids weren't sick, but Annie was completely weak and exhausted. And I just prayed all day that Jo Jo wouldn't get it. By Friday night we were on the mend and then while we were sleeping miss Jo Jo decided it was her turn.

Um, did they forget that it was their day Saturday.

Everyone was coming to support them.

I prayed even harder that she would get better quick. That the sickness would just leave and that if the rest of us were to get sick it could wait until everyone left.

Saturday Jo Jo laid around ALL day in her PJ's not moving or eating, because if she did, she would throw-up AGAIN. Poor girl. Annie was still drained on Saturday, but by the time cousins started showing up, she was all better and ready to play.

I cleaned and sprayed my house a few more times before everyone showed up. And even though there was this sickness, I was SO excited to see everyone! Both of our families, all of them, were coming. So excited.

Then to add to the exhaustion of no sleep, I now felt super bad because the girls' church class were suppose to sing. That wasn't going to happen anymore because the twins were sick (and I didn't want to risk Jo Jo throwing up in front of everyone) and the other girl in their class went out of town. That left one boy and he wasn't about to sing a solo.

The baptism wasn't until 5pm and so I had all day to get things ready. And to hang out with everyone.

I feel bad that I didn't get very many pics -- the girls still felt sick and they just wanted to leave after and so we only got a couple. But we did make it through the program, baptism, and blessing without anyone throwing up, so that is a major thumbs up!

Dinner after was fun. There were so many people in our small house. LOVED IT!!
And I love everyone that came and supported our precious twinners. They are so blessed to have so many people in their life that care so much about them.

I'm so glad that we can be together forever. I'm grateful that we have the choices that give us that option. And I'm extremely grateful for my sisters and the bond that we share. I am so excited for my girls to have that bond and to be able to have friends no matter what. Sisters are the BEST!

I love you Annie and Jo Jo! I got the best gig in the world, to be your momma.

Soon after these were taken, Jo Jo started crying because she wanted Ty to lay on her, which didn't happen.

Laying around like this doesn't happen to often, but because last night two of the crazies were throwing up, they are pretty mellow today. Plus Z isn't here. Her mother thinks that it would be wise not to have her at my house today. Whatever Jenna!
I do have to thank heavens that Dan came home just in time to help me with all the nastiness. I think that single parents are amazing that they do it all themselves all the time. I can do it by myself most of the time, but there are times when I definitely need a break and I'm glad that I can send Dan in to do the dirty work. Anyways, the girls are better today. Jo Jo had an upset stomach when she was eating her yogurt, but has been fine since. Miss Ty is doing just fine. Luckily SB didn't get sick and hopefully she doesn't.

Washington and Sick Kids

Monday the 15th, Mom, Shai, Morgan, Oakley, Scarlett, Hawley, Tyda, and myself all got into my car and took off on a 10 hour road trip for a week long stay with my Grandma. All the kids were really good on the drive which made it that much better.

When we got there the kids just played around and had fun exploring the new house. Things went well until Wednesday when Scarlett got sick. She had a high temp until Saturday. Hawley ended up getting sick on Thursday until Sunday. They wouldn't let anyone talk, touch, or help in anyway, so I was stuck with two sick kids and trying to take care of my baby Tyda. I'm very grateful for my family who helped take care of her. They would bring her to me when she needed to eat and then take her away. This is us in bed. Hawley has a grip on my arm, she didn't want me to go anywhere.



Since the kids were sick, we didn't do anything, which made the trip pretty boring. We just sat around all day everyday. Finally on Friday night we went to Uncle Steve's house and had dinner with them and some cousins. Oakley was so excited for people to play with. She was extremely bored with noone to play with and nothing to do all week.


4 Generations
This is my Uncle Steve. It has been over 5 years since I have seen him.

Saturday a few people came over, but it was mostly just relaxed. Sunday there was a Murphey reunion that we went to. The girls were almost better and running all over the place having fun. They even made a few friends.

We left on Monday to come home and the trip was again a good one. We were all worried about the girls and how they would do, but they did well.

And now that it is over and things are getting back to normal, I get pretty sick. I have a bad cold and a fever. Things are pretty dang crappy when you are sick.
