Update

Annie's fever stuck around ALL week. I finally got sick of it and so we went to the Dr. today.
I think she is starting to feel a touch better if she is able to ride an elephant. :)

The doc didn't like what was happening and so he sent us to get a chest x-ray.

Conclusion:
Annie has pneumonia.

Poor girl has to take some yucky medicine, but is a champ about it. I hope she gets better quickly. I don't like seeing her so sick.

Poor Baby

We have had the cold going around our house, but this little one got something else.

She has had a fever all week and doesn't do much at all. I feel so bad for her and wish I could do more.

I took her and GiGi to the Dr and they didn't say much about Annie, but GiGi had an ear infection and some junk in her lungs. We got a nebulizer and have done a couple breathing treatments, and she is now doing fine.

Back to Annie, if she still has her fever tomorrow, I am taking her back to the Dr. There is something wrong and I need to figure it out. Until then, I will just try to keep her as comfy as possible.

A First

Last night at 2:00 I woke up to my little baby crying and when I went into her room, she decided to throw up. Thankfully Dan had just gotten home and while I was giving her a bath he took the blankets and rinsed them off. What a nice husband.
She didn't throw up the rest of the night.
Then this morning she wanted to try to drink some smoothie. Didn't sit well.
This is the first time that she has been sick like this and so it was all new to her. She did not like it when she threw up and freaked out when it came out her nose. Poor girl!
We watched movies, napped, and pretty much did nothing all day long.
I hate when the kids are sick!



After dinner, Ty was sitting on the couch with her blanket sucking her fingers and we asked her if she would help clean up the mess.
"I can't I'm busy."
Are you serious?
Oh my this little girl cracks me up!

Sick Baby and Valentines

My little Ty got a cold a few days back and hasn't been sleeping so well through all the coughing and hard time breathing.


Dan had to work on Valentines night, so we didn't do anything. He did get me some gorgeous flowers and I got him some chocolate. That is right we know how to party!!! :)

Sickness

Thursday we ended up taking Jo Jo to the Dr. She had an ear and eye infection so we got her some medicine and went on with our week. A couple of days later she was tons better and Annie was getting the eye infection.
Lovely.
All this time Dan was sick and then he ended up with conjunctivitis. Not such a good thing with Dan because he can't do the eye drop thing. Have you seen the Friends where everyone has to tackle Rachel to put eye drops in her eyes. Well he isn't quite that bad, but you get the picture.
Such a wonderful house we have this week.

Sick Little One

Ty has been sick the past week and now she is just about over it--Hallelujah! The first couple nights were awful. Both Ty and I didn't get hardly any sleep and she was a cranky, tired, sick child throughout the day. She would also get major hives while she was sleeping and/or hot. That was crappy since she was feverish some of the time.
At one point during one of the days, she feel asleep on me. Oh how I loved every minute of it.


The crazies don't fall asleep being held anymore so when they do, it is so sweet. They are just the loveliest, precious, most innocent little things ever when they are sleeping.
By the way Dan was mean and forced me to put her in her crib so she could sleep longer. :)

Note to Self

Croup + 103 degree fever = no sleep


The only thing that I hate about being a mother is that I can't make my little Jo Jo feel better. I can't make her sickness go away. All I can do is try to help her be comfortable, wipe away her boogers and tears, and hold her when she asks.


And when she finally falls asleep after a long night of little sleep, I look at her with all the love that I have and pray that my precious little baby gets better quick.

Random

The cold has been going around our home and right now I am not feeling the best. I'm pretty sure that Tyda is going to get it cause the girls can't stay out of her face. This morning Hawley decided that she was going to cough right in her face. Nice.

Tyda turned 6 months yesterday! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. We have so much fun with her and she is such a mellow little baby. Some of the things she does throughout her day includes: Spitting. I think it is her favorite thing to do right now (video below). Eating. She is sort of eating solid foods, but that is a work in progress. Rolling over. She rolls over to her belly and then cries because she doesn't really like it there and she can't get back to her back. Watching the girls. She loves to be in the same room with the girls and I'm sure she wishes that she could get up and go play with them. Sucking her 2 fingers. She loves her first two fingers on her right hand more and more every day. She is such a joy and I love her so much. I'm so grateful to have her in our family.

For some reason the girls love to hang off of our coffee table. They (Scarlett especially) will do this all afternoon. Here is a video of them passing a book back and forth.

I am excited for the end of February. We are going to Mexico again and I am so ready to get away. We are going for a full week this time and we are going to just relax and enjoy the nice warm weather. I'm also excited that we will be able to see Ali. She is in Phoenix and that is right on our way.
