Utah - Part 1

We were able to go to Delta for a week. So glad to get out of the heat and be able to let the girls play outside for more than 5 minutes. We left on Tuesday in the afternoon and made it there in time for dinner. A bonus: Grandma Rita was there. I haven't seen her for 5 years. I had told the crazies that she was going to be there (twins last saw her when they were 2 1/2 and Ty was 2 months) and so when we got there, they ran right to her and gave her a big hug and kiss. Loved it! The only thing that I am really upset about, is that I forgot to take pictures of all of us with her. Huge bummer.

Wednesday

The crazies had fun playing and dressing up in togas.

Thursday

Gemma turned 2 years old. I can't believe how big she is getting. Love that little crazy! I decorated the night before and when she woke up she was so excited. We played all morning...

and then we had a little party.

Party Time

Today was the birthday party for all the July birthdays. Not too long ago, it was just mom in July. But within the last three years we have upped it to 6. Everyone but the Lee's were able to be there and it was so nice to be with everyone again. I miss all of the fun craziness--like this...

And there was a lot of chatting and laughing.




It was a lot of fun and it was nice to be able to be there.
It is hard to be away from family sometimes, but at least we are close enough that we can still get together every once in a while. I know that everyone misses me enormously and get so excited when I am going to be attending the activities. :)
Happy Birthday to all you July babies!
Tomorrow we are leaving this lovely country to go back to the hot hot desert. Not necessarily looking forward to that, but I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed again. Miss you all already!
