Bikes

We finally got our growing girls new bikes.

After going to 10 different stores they finally picked the ones they liked.

Which means that everyone (but me and GiGi--I'm next) got to go for a bike ride.

Easter Fun and Not So Fun

Saturday the crazies woke up and ran downstairs to find what the Easter bunny left for them.

And to see if their eggs hatched.

We then got ready and headed over to the park for our church's annual easter egg hunt. Everyone loved it.

Here are my beauties.

Afterwards, we spent most of the day outside. The girls were riding their bikes having a good ole time when my one child that thinks it is awesome to have wounds that are front and center for all to see, decided to see how the ground would feel when going super fast. I watched the whole thing. It was a crazy wreck.

Luckily she didn't damage herself more than this...

She is a tough girl though!

Growing Up

Something missing?

The girls didn't really want to do it, but I decided it was time. I only took the wheels off of one bike, so there is still a bike for someone to ride.

Dan and I took turns because it was incredibly stressful.

This video is of Jo Jo. She caught on a lot better than miss Annie.

Wonderful Day of Riding

For some reason Jo Jo has been terrified of her bike lately. Just sitting on it freaked her out. She would scream at the top of her lungs if you put her on it and wouldn't stop until you took her off.
Today Dan finally talked her into sitting on her bike and just sitting there. Then while Dan was holding on to her with both hands, she was able to ride out of the garage and down the drive. She finally got brave enough to ride on her own--very very slowly. We have gone out a bunch of times and now she is excited to ride. She is still pretty slow, but at least she gets on it.
Annie on the other hand is awesome at riding her bike. She has been riding it every day and within the past few weeks her confidence has grown incredibly. She even rode one handed.



Now we are just hoping that Ty can start pedaling her trike.
