Has it really been 10 years?
Even though it happened long ago, I remember so much about that day. The images and videos are all too familiar and I will NEVER forget.

You know, I don't think that I have written down what I was doing, so maybe I should so my crazies will know.
I was living in a condo (in Orem) with 4 other girls and all but one of them was already gone for the day. I was getting ready for work (at Subway) and we received a phone call from a friend to turn on the news. I couldn't believe what I was watching. It was so awful to watch all those people jumping out the windows and then when the towers fell I just wanted to cry. Then to find out that there were more planes. I remember I was late to work and the whole time I was there I just wanted to leave so I could watch some more and find out what was going on. It was awful and I felt so sad for those who lost their lives and for those who lost loved ones.

We have a piece of a beam from the WTC here in Vegas and Dan had the honor to stand guard at it this morning. He said that there were a lot of emotional people there and he was glad that he went.
10 years later life doesn't stop like it did, but we pause to think and reflect about the day that changed so many lives. It is our history.
