Who in their crazy mind wants to live in Vegas? It is deathly hot, in the middle of the desert, do they even have seasons? I know it snowed there last year, but isn't that a somewhat rare occurrence? Plus none of my family lives near there.
I'm guessing you have all guessed it, but yes, we will be moving to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks. Dan was offered the job and starts the academy on the 21st. It is hard to believe that we will actually be leaving, since he started working with them in April or something like that. I'm sad to leave my family, but I'm extremely happy for Dan. He is getting out of Unicity and he is excited about that. I'll post more later, I just thought you would all want to know.

Congrats!! I am glad that it is Las Vegas and not somewhere else cause we will be able to visit you when we go down to see Brents family. I will miss you guys though. Love you.
This is the best news! We are so excited to have you guys here! You may miss the seasons but you will LOVE not having to put on boots to go check the mail. And think of all the money you will save not having to buy coats, gloves, boots and all that stuff. YEA!!!!!
K - I came to read what you wrote and the first thing I thought of when your blog pulled up is that you are going to have to change your blog name! I am very happy that you guys have the chance to move forward in your lives but I am going to miss you! Meghan got upset when I told her and said: why is everyone leaving us?!
Yeah, now Doug will finally get to see Vegas. My grandma lives there but Doug has never been there. Now that he has friends who will live there he will be more keen on the idea of going. :) Congrats!!! Vegas is fun and you are right about the heat. I have never seen it snow but my grandma had the biggest fit last year when it snowed. She said she moved there to get away from that bleep snow. :)
I am so happy for Dan! But it totally sucks for me!! I will miss you guys so so much!!
Exciting news, but sad news too! We waited too long to get together and now you are leaving, sad! Kelly Pace lives in Vegas you willhave to get together, she also has twins (boys). Good luck! At least we will always have our Delta connection to keep us united!
That's very exciting! Congratulations! And thank goodness for the internet and the phone. They can keep you pretty close to the family. Plus Vegas is just a few hours away...
