Fun

The neighbors have a swimming pool that I never let the girls swim in, because 1. the girls are too small (it's a bigger pool), 2. I really don't want to get in it, and 3. I must just be a mean mom. Well the other day I finally gave in. The twinners said they wanted to play in the sprinkler, so we got all ready and went out to play. The little stinkers wouldn't even get in it. They thought it was too cold, so they just ate a popcicle and sat in their chairs. After the yummy popcicle was eaten they ran around playing and the neighbor kids came over and asked if they could go swim with them. There were a couple of older neighbor kids with them, so I let them go. They were so excited. Tyda woke up from her nap and so I took her over and let her swim in a tube. She had a blast until one of the boys jumped in and splashed her. I had to take her out after that. Even though they were shivering, they didn't want to get out.

The other night the girls were pretty wound up, maybe that's because Dan was scaring them! Anyways, I had them lay with me and do some calm, breathing techniques. We have done this before, but they just laughed the whole time. They did much better this time.

Aunt Sarah came to watch the girls while Dan and I went on a long overdue date. The girls were sooo excited to have her here. She is going to make the girls a skirt, so she showed them the fabric. They loved it and wanted to wear it right then.

We went to our ward activity before Dan and I went out. All the kids had a bike parade, but since my girls don't have bikes (this isn't because I'm a mean mom this time, it is because there is nowhere for them to ride it) they just watched. It was a good time and some good food!

Dan and I went and watched Transformers. I thought that it was a really good movie. Thanks Dan for taking me out. We really need to do it more often! I love you so much and am so grateful for the amount of patience that you have with me and the crazies. You are an amazing man and I hope that you get everything you deserve! I LOVE YOU!
