Our 2007 Christmas Vacation

The Saturday before Christmas we made a quick trip to Las Vegas to visit some of Dan's family. We stayed until Monday afternoon and then went up to Delta until the 26th. On Sunday Quinan got sick and was throwing up all day. So the girls didn't really get to play with him much, but they still had fun. It was good to see everyone, even if it was for a very short time. Ropers--Thanks for letting us stay with you guys!
We stopped in St. George to visit my Grammy. It was so good to see her and My Aunt and Uncle. The girls had a blast riding Aunt Pam's scooter. They fought over whose turn it was and then so Aunt Pam just started to give them rides together. They cried when we had to leave. I love them all so much and am very grateful for them.
About 30 minutes outside of Delta we hit a snowstorm and so it took us a little longer to get home, but we made it safe and sound. I felt bad for Ryan and Ali. It took them 3 hours to get there, when it should only take 1 1/2 hrs. As soon as everyone was together, Papa read the Bible story and then we opened Christmas Eve presents. I forgot to get the girls some PJ's, but I had got them robes and slippers. So they wore the PJ's that they got last year. They fit them tons better this year even though they are 12-18 mo pajamas.

Christmas Day was good, but very very long. We woke up and had breakfast and then we opened presents. After all that, there was the fighting and yelling and not sharing. Image 4 kids under the age of 2 trying to play with everything with no naps. You can imagine how that was! We watched a movie, ate some dinner, played a game, had dessert and then everyone started to take off. We left the following afternoon.

It was a great Christmas this year and I am so grateful to live close to family to share these memories with. Dan--thank you for all the things you got me. You are an awesome husband!
