Independence Day!!!

I know, I know. I am the biggest slacker in keeping everyone up to date. Things always gets crazy in the summer. We had a really good 4th this year. We went to Delta the night before so that we wouldn't miss the lovely parade that the good city of Delta provides the wonderful citizens.
Before the parade starts they have the jets fly over, which is always pretty cool. This year, before anything started, they had people line up on Main Street and do the bunny hop. They were going for the longest bunny hop ever. I do have to say that they pulled through and now Delta will soon be in the Guiness Book of World Records. How exciting!!! :)

After the parade, they have performances, food, rides, games, etc... at the city park. We went there and walked around for a bit. We had the girls get their faces painted.

Ride a fun barrell ride in which they totally cried when it was over and they couldn't get back on.

And they rode horses for the first time.

We then went home, lounged around a bit, played in water, went to a BBQ with some friends, and then played some badminton.

It was such a fun 4th!!!
