Shopping and Fun

A couple weeks ago we had a wedding reception to attend in Draper and so we made a few stops on the way up. Our first stop was at Cabela's. Dan had a gift card that he needed to use and the crazies love seeing the animals and all the fun gadgets. This is them in a chair blind. They thought it was awesome!!

After that we went to Ikea to get another kitchen chair, so we can eat together as a family. We didn't get any pics there, but we did have a fun time. I love that store.

We went to eat dinner before the reception and Hawley decided to pee her pants when we were getting ready to leave. I remembered to pack some extra undies, but I completely forgot some pants. Since we weren't close to home we had to make a pit stop to find something for her to wear and I found some dresses on sale. I had to buy all the crazies the same dress, because they were so cute. Here are the girls wearing their new dresses and sitting in their new chairs.

Birthday Party

I have gotten myself way behind! Then when I think about all the things that I should blog about, I go a little crazy. Maybe that is why my house is looking cleaner than it normally does and why I have finally gotten around to doing some of the little projects that I've wanted to do for awhile.

I'll start the many blogs with a birthday party the girls went to. Our neighbor, Tyler, had his 3rd birthday a couple weeks ago and I'll just say that I wouldn't want to be the next one to throw a party after that. They had a clown (who was amazing), good cake and ice cream, games, etc... The girls had fun, even though they were kinda scared of the clown. Big surprise there huh!?!

Here are some of the kids with the clown. You can see that the girls didn't get their face painted. That would be because they didn't want to get to close to the clown.


The clown made fun balloons. Hawley got a dog with a leash and Scarlett got a giraffe.

My Baby

My little girl is getting so big. She turned 9 months last week and we went to the Dr. today. She is 17 lbs which puts her in the 19%. She is 27 inches long which is in the 32% and her head is 45 cm which puts her in the 94%. She has a big noggin which means she is going to be one smart kid!!! :)

Vegas

Dan has had some stuff going on in Vegas lately and so the last trip that he had to take, we decided to all go. We hopped in the car Saturday after I worked and headed on down. We didn't think that it would take us too long, but boy we were wrong. We ended up stopping in Springville, Beaver, Cedar City, St. George, Mesquite and a few stops on the side of the freeway. Oh the joys of potty training!
Of course when we stopped in Beaver we had to get a picture with the big chair!


We stopped in St. George to visit my precious Grammy. The girls loved her, they had a blast riding on my Aunts scooter and Uncle Ellis had them jumping all over him.






I was so happy when we finally arrived to crazy Las Vegas. While we were there we had fun hanging out with Dave and Brandy, going to the park, finding scorpions (sorry no pictures) and visiting with the Ropers--Thanks for letting us crash your Sunday evening. Dinner was YUMMY!








We had a fun time and want to thank Dave and Brandy for letting us make their home a little bit crazy! The girls were in heaven with the space to run wild.

Fun Stuff with the Brooks'

First off, this is my 200th post. How crazy is that. Hopefully I haven't bored those who read too much.
Second, Happy Birthday to little Isaac bud. He can be such a cutie.

Lastly, here are some videos of the girls. The first two are of the girls eating dinner last night. They had three plate fulls. My growing crazies! The last one is an exercise video. My little ones really do know how to get into shape. They always keep me laughing, well most of the time!

Are you kidding?

Yesterday it started to snow. I thought about letting the crazies go out and play and then they got into trouble and they couldn't do anything, but sit on the couch. Well it kept snowing and snowing and snowing. Here is what we got...

There is so much snow out there. Dan went out to shovel and he couldn't believe how much there was. One good thing, it is kinda warm so it will melt fast, so if the kids want to go play we only have a limited amount of time. Crazy Utah weather!!!

Relaxation and Easter

My mom and dad are officially the best. Dan had to go to Vegas Sunday through Wednesday night and so my mom had us take the crazies plus Zoey down to Delta, so I could have a break. I kept my baby and it was so relaxing to just have 1 kid. I was able to get things done that should have been done a long time ago. But I also enjoyed the quiet and calm a little too much, because I didn't get done some of the things that I wanted to get done. Oh well!
We went to Delta Friday night and had a good Easter weekend. We did the annual hot dog and cotton candy thing, which is always yummy. Too bad it wasn't the best weather! The kids all decorated their eggs.

We had a birthday party for the April birthday's.



The crazies enjoyed everything that the Easter Bunny left for them. Their favorite was a little chick that 'hatched' from an egg during the night. It is a Brooks' tradition that I will definitely keep doing. They thought it was the best!

They looked so beautiful in their new dresses.



The cousins loved being together. They had a blast with the egg hunt. Good times!!








We had a wonderful weekend. Thanks mom and dad for everything that you helped us with last week! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Little Baby Adele

I recieved a new niece at 8:30 yesterday morning. She is doing awesome inspite of being 6 weeks early. She was over 5 pounds which is awesome, because the twins were only 4 lbs and they were only 4 weeks early. She has 10 fingers and 12 toes and the tiniest little head in the whole world. I seriously have never seen a smaller head. Congrats to Ryan and Emma. She will be a fun little girlie.


Oh and she really only has 10 toes.

Anyone want my crazies? Whoever said that the terrible two's was bad, obviously didn't have any children of their own. Because where I have two 3 year olds of my own and a 3 year old niece, I am pretty sure that the two's was not nearly as awful as the three's and I'm only into it a few months. Lucky for me that I have to deal with the three crazies and a 8 month old. Just keep checking up on me every so often, so that I don't do something wacky!!!!
