My Man!!!

On June 11th, we will have been married for 4 years now. The time has gone by so incredibly fast. We have had so much fun together and I am so looking forward to having way more fun with him in the future. I am going to do a few blogs about us and to start, here is a tag thingy about us.

-How long have you been together-
We have been together for 4 1/2 years.
-How long did you date? -
Our first date was August 8th and we got engaged December 8th.
-Who eats more?-
Right now I do, but I have such a good excuse!!!
-Who said, "I Love You" first?
I knew that I loved him, but I was so chicken to tell him and have him run away. So I kept it to myself until he told me that he was falling in love with me!
-Who is taller?-
Dan is.
-Who has more speeding tickets?
If you are asking about on our records right now, Dan would be the one with more, but if you are asking about our whole lives, that would definitely be me.
-Who is smarter?-
Depends on the subject. We are both pretty equal. (Dan-'Is this in minutes or hours'?) I love you!
-Who is more sensitive?
Definitely me.
-Who does the laundry?
I do, but if I don't get it all done before I have to leave for work, Dan will try to help me out.
-Who cooks dinner?
Dan does. I will cook some on the weekends, but with my job at night, I don't get the opportunity. Dan is an excellent cook, so he is more than welcome to do it!
-Who does the dishes?
Dan does for the most part. Sometimes I will try to get to them before he can, but that doesn't happen alot.
-Who sleeps on the right?
Dan
-Who mows the lawn?
We rent, so no mowing for us. Our lawn sucks anyways!
-Who drives when you are together?
Of course Dan does. Every once in awhile I will, but for the most part, Dan.
-Who is more stubborn?
I would have to say that I am. It is a Robison thing.
-Who kissed whom first?
Dan kissed me first, but it took him long enough.
-Who proposed?
My Man
-Who has more siblings?
I have 5 and Dan has 4.
-Who gets excited more?
I do.

Dan is the best guy in the world. He treats me so incredibly good and he is absolutely the best dad to our kids. He is so funny and can make me laugh pretty much any time. He is very motivated and works extremely hard to provide for our family. He is spiritual, adventurous, crazy and exciting. He loves life!

Memories

Just about every year from the time I was born til I graduated High School (sorry it has been so long Grandma!), I spent part of my summers in this house. I haven't been back since my Grandpa died 6 years ago.


Now my Grandma has decided to sell and I am sad to say that I will probably never go into the house again. She lives in Washington and I don't get the chance to get up that way very often. I have some AWESOME memories in that house.


This is kind of a funny picture--can you find me? It was so long ago. We seriously had so much fun together!


This is the last time the whole family got together before my Grandpa died. It was Thanksgiving 2001.

I am sad that this cute little house will not be in the family anymore, but at least I have the memories!

Quote of the Day

As I was folding laundry this morning, Scarlett says "Mommy, look a bubble"! When I look up at her she is pointing to her nose and the booger bubble that she had sneezed out.

Morgan's Wedding

We had such a good time on Saturday. We didn't get to Delta til late on Friday, but there wasn't much we could do since everything was going to be outside. Saturday was pretty crazy before everything started, we had TONS to do with not a lot of time to do it all. (I don't have pics of the cake or tables yet, but will get them later.)

The wedding started at 3pm (it was in the backyard) and then we had a lunchin at 4pm (at the church--which the food was delicious) and the reception started at 6pm (it was in the front yard). It was a beautiful day for an outside wedding. The wind didn't even blow, which is very rare for good old Delta. Everything turned out beautifully!

I can't believe that my baby sis has finally gotten married. Makes me feel old. Morgan, I love you so much and I hope that you make the most out of every day! Treat each other with respect and love and you will be happy! I love you!!!

Pretty Girls

The other day, I trimmed the girls' hair and then curled it out. They looked so dang cute! I think I am going to do this to their hair for Morgan's wedding.


These are the dresses that they are wearing. Jenna and I added the black sash and I think that it turned out pretty good, considering we don't do things like that ever.

Mexico

Sorry, but this entry is kinda long!
At 4:00 am on Thursday the 15th we get up, get ready and hit the road. 14 hours later with four stops for gas, bathroom breaks, and food, and five Disney movies, we arrive to Rocky Point, Mexico. (Hallelujah for portable DVD players!!!) We imediatley got checked into our condo's and changed so we could get ourselves down to the beach. The kids were completely excited and had a blast playing in the water (which they miss terribly now). We played for awhile and then we headed back to eat some grub. We had two condos in two different buildings (they weren't far from each other)--Jenna, Morgan, Dan, the girls, Zoey, and I all shared a condo and Ryan, Ali, Shai, Cade, Oakley, Mom, and Dad had the other one. We all slept WONDERFULLY that night!










The next day we got up and had breakfast and then went down to the pool. There were many different pools, but we spent most of our swimming time in this one called the Infinity Pool. After swimming for awhile we went back up for some lunch and then down to the beach. It wasn't as cool because there were now tons of locals trying to sell us all their stuff (which some of it was way cool) and we couldn't just sit or walk without having to tell them 'no' or 'maybe later'. Mom and Dad did end up finding a good price for a dinner and cruise thing--which we didn't eat anything and it wasn't anywhere near a cruise boat, but it was really fun. We got on around 5:30 and didn't get back til 8ish. Then we went out to eat. Zoey was crazy dancing and singing all over the place, but the girls and I were exhausted. Scarlett actually fell asleep in my arms, which never ever happens.

Saturday all the guys got up at 6:30 to go deep sea fishing. We have some yummy fish that we get to eat now. They were gone til probably 2 or so. While they were gone the girls all went to the 'dirt mall' and walked around. It was so dang hot, I was pretty uncomfortable. We got some cool things though. At one of the shops there were a couple of puppies and so we had to stop for awhile for the kids to play with it.



The rest of Saturday and all of Sunday were pretty relaxed and chill. We played at the pool, played at the beach, collected seashells and sand and just enjoyed the vacation.





Monday we drove another 15 1/2 hours to get to our wonderful home. I do wish we could have stayed for one more day, but as you all know--it just feels good to be home!

Feelings and Update

So my emotions today are excited, stressed, and on the verge of insanity. We are going on vacation to Mexico with my family, which is the exciting part. We are driving the 14 hours (28 hours round trip) down to the sunny and hot beach, that is the stressful part. I am trying to pack and clean before we go with 3 crazy kids running around making a mess and fighting and being 2, that is the insanity part. I will let you all know how it went for sure when we get back. I am excited to sit on the beach and relax though. If you want to see where we are going, go to my sister-in-law, Ali's, blog. I am in desperate need of a vacation, too bad it isn't just Dan and I. :)

I don't know why I am posting this, cause seriously I look like a retard, but I will be on Dr. Phil on Friday the 23rd for those of you who want to laugh.

Mother's Day!

Yesterday was the one of the best days--Mother's Day! While I was getting ready for church, the girls brought in a card and a present. They got me a cute fossil watch (I'm wearing it in the pic). Dan and I are one of the nursersy leaders in our ward and lucky for me, we had the week off. After the girls napped, we played outside for a bit and then we went up into the canyon and went for a little walk. It was really fun and the girls had a blast. When we got home Dan BBQ'd us some steaks and made baked potatoes for dinner. It was yummy!




I am so glad that I have the opportunity to be a mom. It is one of the best things in the world. It gives me a greater appreciation for my mom and the things that she sacrificed and went through to raise all of her 6 CRAZY children! She is the best example and I love her so much. I just pray that she is around for many many many more years (which will be the case, cause your tough). I am also grateful for Dan's mom and the women that she is. She did a great job raising her kids and I have the best husband because of her help.

Morgan's Bridal Shower

Saturday I took the girls and we went down to Delta--it was Morgan's Bridal Shower. We had a blast chatting and playing around. Here are some pics of it:

New Lazy Boy

So we bought ourselves a nice comfy lazy boy! We weren't planning on getting one until closer to the baby coming, but being the crazy people that we are, we ended up getting one when we were just suppose to be testing them out. I don't mind having it, especially since I need my legs up more now. The girls love to sit up on the arms and cuddle when Dan or I are sitting on it! They are so sweet!! For those of you that don't know our little Hawley, she LOVES to suck her thumb and play with the hair of whoever is sitting next to her. She doesn't like it very much when I pull my hair up.
