Pumpkin Party!!

Every year we have a pumkin party where we carve some pretty cool pumkins and have neighbors come over to eat and judge our pumkins. We have the little kids dress up in their cute costumes and just have an awesome time. Not everyone could make it this year, but I'm glad that those who came were able to. We had a very fun time playing games and watching Jenna play the XBox.

Camping Trip!!!

This past weekend we took our last camping trip of the year. My parents just bought a RV and they wanted to test it out, so we drove on down to Delta and went up the canyon to camp out. It wasn't really camping out, since we stayed in the RV and not in a tent, but I am very grateful for that RV. Of course we picked a weekend that was the coldest. On Saturday we got snowed on a lot, but we had that RV with heat. We pretty much stayed inside the RV all day on Saturday. We went out for a little bit so the kids could play in the snow. They had so much fun playing in it and eating it.

Scarlett had kind of a exciting afternoon on Saturday--she was eating the snow off of the benches and then she ran off and picked some up off of the ground, but ended up with a mouth full of dirt as well. And then she fell into the fire pit. We didn't have a fire going, but we had one the night before, so she got a couple of burns on her fingers and her knee. She likes to make sure that I don't forget about it, so she walks around the house saying 'owie owie' and holding her fingers so I can see them.

Other than that, it was pretty much just a relaxing weekend. The kids loved riding on the 4-wheelers like usual and they colored and just played with each other. It will be hard when we move somewhere, because the cousins are so close.

There are times when a persons life changes forever and on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, I think that Ali's changed. I am so excited for her and I am so glad that I was able to participate in this huge moment. Thanks for letting me go!

As some of you know, my brother married an absolutely gorgeous girl from Spain. We didn't even get to meet her until after they had already been married for a month or so. (Thanks Ryan ;) ) They were married in Spain and then moved to Utah and have lived here for almost 10 years. (Time goes by so incredibly fast!) They have had their awful moments and their fantastic moments, but they have stuck together and for that I am grateful.

Since Ali was from Spain, she wasn't a citizen of the USA and I am happy to say that she finally took the plunge. She is now a citizen of the United States of America!!! I am so happy for her and I want you to know Ali that I love you so much and I will always be here for you. You are a wonderful sister and I am grateful to have you in my life! Thanks again for letting me share another special moment with you and Ryan. I love you!

Boondocks

For Dan's company summer party, we went up to Boondocks. For those of you who haven't gone, it is a pretty fun place to go. They have bumper boats, go-carts, mini golf, rock climbing, among other things. We took the girls with us and they had so much fun.



Dan did the rock climbing thing and did awesome. What a STUD!!! :)

Memories...

I remember when I had to put the girls into the clothes basket, because they weren't able to get into it themselves. They had a blast in it then....

...and now that they can get into it by themselves, they still have a blast!!! Oh, how fast they grow! It is so crazy how much kids change within the first- second year.

Little Fam Trip to Cascade Springs

Dan's Parents came up from New Mexico for a few days and we were able to hang out with them some. They had never been to Cascade Springs, so all the family that lives around here got together and went for a drive. Scarlett was so funny leading the pack. She was in the front for a big chunk of the hike and when I would call her name, she would run so I couldn't get her. It was pretty funny.

They are still good at making messes!!!

I can pretty much always expect to get out of the shower and see the girls getting into stuff that they shouldn't be getting into. They had help with this mess--Zoey. I think that she started it and the girls finished it, because the girls don't ever get into this drawer and Zoey loves to open it. I have toys in the top drawer for them to play with, but for some reason, Zoey can't keep this drawer shut. Its like it calls her name! Where is Zoey you might ask? She is making another mess in the corner with the books! :)


And as you can see here, the girls are still making themselves gorgeous with food! Sometimes I will just take the time to feed them, because I am not up to cleaning them and the table and the floor and the chair... But at least they love to eat!!!

What a family!

My family is so darn cute! I will sometimes just sit and watch them all and realize how blessed that I am to have them in my life. I couldn't ask for much more and I am so happy. The girls are so hilarious. They make me laugh so hard and I love that. Dan is my soul mate. I couldn't have gotten anyone else that treats me as good . He is so wonderful and I love him more than words can say. LIFE IS GOOD!!!
