Ahhh...We miss those Winter Days!

I was cleaning out a closet and got out all of the winter clothing, so I could store it away for the summer. Scarlett grabbed the first hat and wanted it on and of course Hawley and Zoey wanted one as well. They walked around for awhile like this.
The night before, Dan had put on one mitten on each one of their hands. Scarlett liked it so well that she found the other one, had Dan put it on, and didn't take them off all night. She wanted to eat dinner with them and everything. Too bad he didn't get a picture of that--I would have liked to see her eating dinner. Kids are so hillarious!!!

Fun new Bathroom

I was shopping awhile ago and decided to change the bathroom so it is more fun for the girls. They absolutely love animals and so I am doing a jungle theme. It is still in the process (we aren't rich), but I love the things we have so far. The girls will go in there and just touch the shower curtain and make the noises of the animals. It is so fun.

Sarah is growing up so fast!!!

On May 4th, my sis-in-law, Sarah, graduated from the 'U' in Linguistics. It was so good to see everyone and hang out and have fun. I'm sorry that the Ropers couldn't make it. I'm proud of Sarah and I hope that she does well throughout her life. She is amazing! Congrats Sarah! She actually left to the Cezh Republic to start a language center, so go Sarah. Have fun, be good, and we'll see you in a month! :)

Warm Spring Days!

This last weekend we went to Delta to visit and it was such nice weather. We were outside a lot of the time and the kids had a blast. They love when they get together. Of course Oakley is the ring leader and I am pretty sure she will lead them into much trouble when they are a little bit older!!! :) But what fun they will have!

Like I said--There is always something to get into.

Last week I heard glass being thrown onto the kitchen floor and when I looked the girls were throwing my lids out of the bottom drawer of the stove (luckily none of them broke). I took all of them out and shut the drawer so they couldn't break anything. The next thing I know, they are in the drawer having a blast.

One night while I was at work, Dan sent me a picture of the girls (which didn't show how bad it really was). They had gotten into the soil of the plant and had it all over their mouths, legs, hands and it was ALL OVER the floor. Needless to say, I was very glad that I was working that night.

Hogle Zoo

Yesterday (April 17) we went to Hogle Zoo with some of my family. It was so much fun. The girls absolutely loved it. Well, everything but the Gorillas. Shai, Cade, Oakley, Mom, and Dad all came up to go and we met up with Whitney, Brent, and Isaac. It was perfect weather as well. The batteries in our camera died, so we couldn't take some of the last few pics that we wanted, but we got some. It was also Dad and Cades Birthdays--so Happy Birthday to them! We went out to eat afterwards at a place called The Texas Roadhouse. It was good food. Oh, I almost forgot--the girls got tats! We ran into some bikers who were part of BACA and they gave Scarlett and Hawley their 1st tatoos. Scarlett didn't like it at first, but it grew on her.

Easter

For Easter we went to Delta. The kids all had a blast trying to find their eggs. Scarlett and Hawley found a few, but they just liked holding on to them. Zoey (1 month younger) loved to find the eggs, pick them up, shake them, then put them in her basket. It was fun to have them all together. Later that night we had a birthday party for all the April birthdays. It wasn't anything big, but we all had fun. I can't believe how fast they grow up!!!!

Doggie

The upstairs people got a new dog. I will take the girls outside to have them see it (they LOVE dogs), but they get scared if her face gets anywhere near them. As long as her face is turned away- they will pet her and get close. As you can tell, the dogs face got to close to Hawley and she didn't like it at all. Our neighbors also have dogs and so anytime they bark Scarlett and Hawley get all excited and bark back and point at them.
**A side note--Scarlett is wearing that vest again! She gets so frustrated when she can't get it on herself, but she has to be wearing it. She is so funny!

There is always something to get into!

On Sunday, I realized that the girls were being really quiet, so I looked in the kitchen and there they were making the biggest mess. They had found the straws and cups and had thrown them everywhere. But they were having a blast with them!
